Introduction
At SGA we believe that knowledge transference needs to play a fundamental role in our work, especially when we are working on a retainer basis. This enables us to pass on helpful techniques that our clients can then incorporate into their day to day internet marketing work, allowing SGA to focus on exceeding targets to gain traffic and ultimately support the acquisition of sales via the web.
We support our clients in three ways:
- Project & Campaign Work - online PR progammes, blog campaigns and social media platforms as part of online reputation development and management
- Retained Work - development of ongoing online PR programmes embracing the very latest in social media, online PR and blogging tactics
- Training (SEO, social media and online PR techniques)
Online Brand Development & Product Campaigns
We have worked with many clients on a project by project basis to ensure we give maximum return on investment.
We measure our results through:
- Onsite Marketing via Traffic acquisition - the introduction of new and recommended keywords can have a significant impact on the traffic driven to any given site. This is where a little lateral thinking comes into its own and our journalistic flair combined with keyword optimisation skills shine
- Tracking - We recommend all our clients use Google Analytics to help monitor traffic generated via SGA's work across the web from article acquisition through to traffic from blogs and social media platforms
- Traffic through partnerships - as part of our work, we regularly gain inbound links through partnerships (such as approaching relevant sites to gain one way or even reciprocal links). Link bait (i.e. the perceived value of requested link) from the potential site (and partner) is critical, this can be in the form of good quality content that is offered exclusively, competitions, special offers or vouchers unique to their site
- Calls to action - it is vital that visitors to a site can easily purchase or gain further information to a professional service, in this way, we review what each site is requesting of a visitor and ensure that we are maximizing the opportunity to convert visitors to customers
At the end of each Project, SGA will deliver a detailed report highlighting our activity and anticipated results (where possible). We will continue to track and monitor the performance of our work and will proactively put forward further suggestions if required.
Online PR and Social Media Platform Development
Many of our clients work with SGA on an annual basis in order to develop brand awareness and value across the web through our bespoke programmes.
During the initial planning sessions our team will work alongside our clients to develop the strategy with clear objectives. This enables us to identify the most suitable online channels and develop a content strategy with clear messages to develop brand value - and ultimately sales.
An example of potential objectives could be as follows:
- Increased brand value
- Develop awareness of products - this includes product launches, promotions and developing awareness programmes for improving visibility for existing ranges and services
- Percentage increase in overall traffic over a one year period
- Greater retention of online visitors and customer loyalty requirements
Within all of our retained programmes SGA will deliver the following as a matter of course:
- Ongoing knowledge transference - as part of our regular communication, we aim to ensure that we show our clients techniques that they can try (time allowing) and explain the purpose of our activities. This all helps in showing the benefits of internet and web marketing to our clients
- Tracking - we recommend all our clients create (if not already in place) a Google Analytics account. This clearly highlights the source of all traffic and which keywords are driving traffic to the site
- Monthly reporting - highlighting work carried out during the course of the month and activities for following month
- Quarterly reviews - we are always critical of our own performance and abilities and it is important that we monitor our progress for the benefit of our clients. As part of our ethos to strive for perfection, we undertake quarterly reviews of our work, highlighting areas of the campaign that has driven traffic as well as areas that need more attention
We believe in transparency and clear communication - if something isn't working, we prefer to discuss things with our clients and then change poor performing elements to improve results.
